| 08:28 pm [Link] |     Однажды в журнале "Ровесник" (был год 85й) один французский журналист, написав что-то неласковое в адрес реформирования Deep Purple, пустился в рассуждение о том, какие бывают "металы" (речь идет о подвиде гитарно-ориентированной музыки), со скрипом выведя тезис о thrash metal как о "игре на пределе человеческих возможностей" (в 85м году уже были и death metal, и black metal, но чего ж мы хотим от журналиста, чиь переводы печатает "Ровесник"). Спустя 20 лет я всё же нашел довольно убедительный справочник-путеводитель, записанный на языке, приближенном к жанровому. POWER METAL The protagonist arrives riding a white unicorn, escapes from the dragon, saves the princess and makes love to her in an enchanted forest. TRASH METAL The protagonist arrives, fights the dragon, saves the princess and fucks her and saves the world from pollution. HEAVY METAL The protagonist arrives on a Harley Davidson, kills the dragon, drinks some beers and fucks the princess like a mighty warrior. FOLK METAL The protagonist arrives with some friends playing acordeons, violins, flutes and many more weird instruments, the dragon falls asleep (by all the dancing) then all leaves without the princess. VIKING METAL The protagonist arrives on a ship, kills the dragon with his mighty axe, cooks and eats it, rapes the princess to death, steals the castle and burns all the place before he leaves. DEATH METAL The protagonist arrives, kills the dragon, fucks the princess and kills her, then leaves. BLACK METAL The protagonist arrives at midnight, kills the dragon and impales it in front of the castle, then sodomizes the princess, drinks her blood in a ritual before killing her, then impales the unvirgin princess under moonlight fire. GORE METAL The protagonist arrives, kills the dragon and spreads his guts in front of the castle, fucks the princess and kill her then he fucks the dead body, slashes her belly and eats her guts, then he fucks the carcass for the third time, burns the corpse and fucks it for the last time. DOOM METAL The protagonist arrives, sees the size of the dragon and thinks that he never could beat him, then he gets depressed and commits suicide, the dragon eats his body and the princess as well, end of the sad story. PROGRESSIVE METAL The protagonist arrives with a guitar and plays a 26 minutes solo, the dragon kills himself out of boredom, the protagonist arrives at the princess bedroom door, plays anoter solo with all the technics and tunes learned in the last year in a music school, the princess escapes looking for the HEAVY METAL protagonist. GLAM METAL The protagonist arrives, the dragon laugh sat the guy's appearance and lets him enter, he then steals the princess' make up and tries to paint the castle in a beautiful pink color. GRIND METAL The protagonist arrives, screams something completely undecipherable for about 2 minuted and then leaves. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Кстати, коль мы тут взялись метал обсуждать, на www.guitar.ru уже месяц висит новость об убийстве Даймбэга Дэррелла, одного из основателей группы "Pantera". Причем убили его в клубе Alrosa Villa (Колумбус, штат Огайо). Тебя-то там не было в тот момент? Ты, вроде как, в начале декабря мотался в Колумбус? И вот за что его так? Глеб (Reply to this) (Thread)
В Альроза Вилла я "не был, но бывал". Это небольшой клуб примерно в 10 минутах езды (на север по 71й) от моей бывшей квартиры. В своё время был очень неплохим - в одном только 99м году там были Emperor, Satyricon, The Gathering и Ozric Tentacles. Я был там на концерте The Gathering, на котором был лучший звук из всех концертов, на которых мне доводилось быть. Мне рассказывали, что года 4-5 назад там сменился владелец, после чего приличные акты стали обходить этот клуб стороной. да и Колумбус тоже - если посмотреть на график выступлений любых приличных команд, то в Огайо это Кливленд и Цинциннати. Конечно, все перечисленные (кроме The Gathering) в 99м году были уже творческими импотентами, но всё же даже сраный Сатирикон с копирайт-держимордой Вонгравеном во главе в двадцать раз лучше всего nu-alternative-metal говна, которое посещает это заведение с тех пор. По поводу ж Даррела, случилось там следующее - какой-то хуй во время первого же номера открыл, как утверждают, "беспорядочную стрельбу", ухлопал Даррела, и еще троих, пока его не пристрелил полицейский. Даррел до этого играл в "Пантере", и этому событию попытались пришить идеологию (протест против ухода пострадавшего из Пантеры). Я думаю, это прямое следствие политики нынешних хозяев клуба, ориентирующихся на гопоту. Стрелять надо было не Даррела, а Ансельмо, и где-нибудь году в 91м. (Reply to this) (Parent)

But after few days of decay the dragon and the princess leave for another castle because of horrible dead body smell. INDUSTRIAL The protagonist is a humanoid robot. He kills the dragon with his right-arm-bazooka and becomes a servant of the princess. DARKWAVE/AMBIENT/DARK AMBIENT For long years the dragon hears some strange noises, buzzing, dripping and howling. The protagonist materializes from the black mist and dematerializes once a decade... By the time he enters the castle the princess is 125 years old. RAP The protagonist is a nigger. He arrives with a bag of weed, in a "Chicago Bulls" uniform. They smoke ganja with dragon and become best friends.
