According to British and Russian museums, Nicholas II Romanoff was an honorary commander of the regiment of Royal Scots Greys (Royal North British Dragoons) in the service of Her Majesty.

Also, in 1893 Nicholas II Romanov became the 802th knight of the Most Noble Order of the Garter (his father Alexander III, who had sworn allegiance to the British monarch in 1881, was 773th). This order is the highest knightly order of Great Britain, Nicholas was accepted before he assumed the throne, being a grand duke. The motto of the order: "Honi Soit Qui Mal y Pense".

Также Николай II Романов в 1893 стал 802-м рыцарем Наиблагороднейшего ордена Подвязки (его отец Александр III, присягнувший верности британскому монарху в 1881, был 773-им). Этот орден является высшим рыцарским орденом Великобритании, Николай был принят ещё до вступления на престол, будучи великим князем. Девиз ордена: "Honi Soit Qui Mal y Pense".

1st The Queen Dragoon Guards и Royal Scots Dragoon Guards на легких джипах, специально для перемещения в грузовых вертолетах.
Royal Dragoon Guards на легких танках, тоже разведка, тут уже самолеты нужны для переброски.
