If a larger vehicle strikes a pedestrian or rider, the larger vehicle will generally be assumed liable. Bearing that in mind, vehicles will use their speed and security advantage, and often the horn, to maneuver through even densely occupied crossings. Aware pedestrians will generally expect a vehicle will force through a walk way, and are often confused if the vehicle halts to allow them passage. Painted cross walks (white bars painted on road ways) are hardly typically observed as "pedestrian protected" areas, but woe to a driver who strikes a pedestrian there. Never assume a driver will actually stop for you at a marked crossing. Drivers will actually push anything in front of them off the sidewalk or side of the road, it is assumed you will move out of their way. Merging: vehicles depart from intersections, side streets, alleys and parking lots, merging onto any road without yielding to traffic already underway on that road (and often apparently without a glance at oncoming traffic). If the merging driver can reach any opening in traffic, the oncoming cars are expected to yield and allow the merge. |

шахматы Сегодня случайно попал на сеанс одновременной игры с мастером на 17 досках. проиграл, но весьма по боевому. не играл лет 7, а тут такое впечатление. Теперь нарыл статистику дебютов. Сицилианка рулит! вообще я за черных всегда играю либо сицилианскую защиту, либо Каро-Кан, а за белых всегда что-то ферзевое. А вы? |

Гвардей удивительный писатель ![[info]](http://lj.rossia.org/img/userinfo.gif) gvardei. почти каждый текст начитается вкусной затравкой, а заканчивается прогорклой банальностью. но прикольноеще он пишет с завидной регулярностью. вот был такой деятель - Лев Пирогов. так тот как-то написал как стать типа тысячником за полгода. и кажется Гвардей четко ему следует, но безуспешно. |

лишь интересуется именем, оставляя умирать в одиночестве Вот пост, про то, что на Эверест это не место для помощи кому либо, потому, что за попытку платится 65 штук баксов, страшная высота, и вообще тяжело. Ключевая фраза: "Невозможно позволить себе роскошь нравственности на высоте более 8000 метров". роскошь нравственности, о как. На тему отметились местные циники, экстрималы и экстремисты 1, 2, единодушно высказавшись так в принципе и надо, о этике в таких ситуациях не говорят. Жижоиды тоже примерно такого мнения. Глас компьютерного народа, так сказать. Однако в мире оставление умирать никем не рассматривается как нормальное явление. Это всегда скандал . Тех, кто так поступил не считают за людей, их смешивают с гавном и они потом всю жизнь каются, придумывают не существовавшие звонки , их посылают спонсоры , а карьере альпиниста приходит позорный конец. Напротив, участие в спасательных экспедициях, это высшая доблесть, и оно засчитывается гораздо выше, чем галочка за пешее восхождение на Эверест. |

As part of the negotiations, the British Government conceded that English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a 5- year phase-in plan that would become known as 'Euro-English'. In the first year, 's' will replace the soft 'c'. Sertainly, this will make the sivil servants jump with joy. The hard 'c' will be dropped in favour of 'k'. This should klear up konfusion, and keyboards kan have one less letter. There will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year when the troublesome 'ph' will be replaced with 'f'. This will make words like fotograf 20% shorter. In the 3rd year, publik akseptanse of the new spelling kan be expekted to reach the stage where more komplikated changes are possible. Governments will enkourage the removal of double letters which have always ben a deterent to akurate speling.
