06:49 pm - I guess I'll start to respect copyright laws with all this. I'm quite bewildered after this party and live show we had yesterday.
First of all I've been making pictures all at the last party. Some of you might have seen them here: http://www.gizmo-lab.net/parties/?lng=eng The ones on the pages entitled starting with "seb4" are from the last party.
I was using a digital camera that belongs to the club, and when the camera ran out of memory we uploaded the pics to a PC in the club. So yesterday we have another party in the same club and a girl comes up to me and asks whether it was me who put her on the flyer.
So, the guys at the club took one of the pictures I made, this one:
Made it black and white, and put it on the flyer for the party they organize March 1st. The back of the flyer is also the pic I made, but people are unrecognizable there.
They did not ask me, nor the girl. I know it's pretty hard to recognize her at the pic, but it was her friends that told her that it is she on the flyer...
What adds to the situation is that I showed some interest in the girl before...
Next point: A couple of weeks ago we were at the place of one of the guys from the promo group. Drinking and then playing ping-pong in Fruity Loops. There were me, T-Trider, who normally makes D'n'B, An2one from "Koordinate of Wonders" (IDM, Toytronic liked their tunes) and Foks (experimental). We made several rounds and then got quite drunk, so the song was unfinished.
So, this Foks took the result later and made his own track using the parts we all created. Not sure is the others parts are recognizable in the track, but it starts out with my tune. Tonight he played the song at the party in his set. Well, I really do not mind him using my tune, I am quite glad he liked it enough to keep it in the track, but I remember that when others played the result of a collaboration when some other participants were present in the club, they announced that here comes a collaboration. I guess I would like him to do the same may be :)
So, I got quite mixed emotions about copiright tonight. Current Mood: hopeful Current Music: my mom listening to the radio
