Мексиканский залив: глубоководное бурение, таблица и карты Big Oil races to drill deep in the Gulf of Mexico BP dominates this rapidly expanding oil production region. http://money.cnn.com/news/storysupplement/big_oil/ http://theharddeal.blogspot.com/2010/06/dirty-oil-business.htmlSEPTEMBER 3, 2009 BP PLC announced a major new oil find in the Gulf of Mexico, the latest in a string of discoveries there that cements the offshore waters of the southern U.S. as one of the oil world's most promising exploration regions. BP said its Tiber prospect, about 200 miles due south of Lake Charles, La., is a "giant." The field is estimated to contain three billion barrels of oil, although only a fraction of that may ever be extracted, spokesman Daren Beaudo said. BP is already the biggest producer in the Gulf, pumping the oil and natural gas equivalent of 400,000 barrels there a day. In 2010, about 14% of crude oil production in the Lower 48 states will come from four deepwater Gulf oil fields, two of which, Atlantis and Thunder Horse, are operated by BP, the U.S. Energy Information Administration said. http://online.wsj.com/article/NA_WSJ_PUB:SB125189057895179241.html | | 10:10a |

The basin is situated within southern Sudan and covers an area of approximately 120,000 km2. It contains a number of hydrocarbon accumulations of various sizes, the largest of which are the Heglig and Unity oil fields http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muglad_Basinhttp://www.npagroup.co.uk/oilandmineral/onshore/studies/country_sudan.htmThe Melut Basin is a rift basin in southern Sudan. It is situated in the states of Upper Nile and Jonglei, south of the capital Khartoum and east of the river Nile. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Melut_Basin ( 7419×9795 )History of Oil exploration ( Read more... )Extensive petroleum exploration first began in Sudan in the mid-1970s. Significant finds were made in the Upper Nile region and commercial quantities of oil began to be exported in October 2000, reducing Sudan’s outflow of foreign exchange for imported petroleum products. Today, oil is an important export industry in Sudan. Estimates suggest that oil accounts for between 70% and 90% of Sudan's total exports. The primary importers of Sudanese oil are Japan, China, South Korea, Indonesia, and India. Most of Sudan's oil reserves are located in the Muglad and Melut rift basins in the south of the country. Oil fields in the south, such as those at Heglig and in the state of Unity, are linked to the country's refineries via pipelines. The two largest oil pipelines are the Greater Nile Oil Pipeline, which travels 1,600 kilometres from the Unity oil field to Port Sudan on the Red Sea via Khartoum, and the PetroDar pipeline, which extends 1,380 kilometres from the Palogue oil field in the Melut Basin to Port Sudan. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economy_of_SudanSudan oil concessions map 1997 http://www.grassrootspeace.org/darfur_maps.htmlBP Statistical Review of World Energy 2010 http://addax.wordpress.com/2007/04/01/course-au-petrole-au-darfouroil-rush-in-darfur/sudan-oil-concessions-in-2006-concessions-petroliere-du-soudan-en-2006-3/ http://blogs.ssrc.org/sudan/2009/05/08/sanctions-and-south-sudan-the-oil-factor/ http://priceofoil.org/2010/03/18/sudan’s-oil-figures-don’t-add-up-undermining-peace-deal/ http://www.rightsmaps.com/html/sudmap1.htmlТакже http://acacia-denzil.webhosthost.in/10071919/sudan-oil/http://www.worldmapfinder.com/Ru/Africa/Sudan/Licensed positions in Sudan http://www.rigonal.com/oil-opportunities-in-sudan/licensed-positions-in-sudanSudanese crude Oil properties from test result http://www.rigonal.com/oil-opportunities-in-sudan/sudan-crude-oils | | 3:22p |
