"Hiatt Comes Alive at Budokan?"John Hiatt and the Guilty Dogs 1994

Просто отличный концертник! Я, вообще, концертные альбомы не очень люблю - обычно звук там хреноват. Но здесь звук отличный, записано и сведено классно. Ни на какой Будокан Хайатт, конечно, не поехал ( да и знают ли его в Японии, в России, вот, почти никто не знает ) Это записи американского тура 94-го года.
На амазоне нашел отзыв, почти абсолютно совпадающий с моим впечатление о диске:

"Why is this disc so good?
- It's the absolute best live rock recording I have ever heard ---not at all spacey and inconsistent or fraught with feedback.
- All the songs are quite different than their studio versions, and every bit as good if not better.
- The songs are well-picked if you want a good sampling of Hiatt music.
- John's live performance voice is really a lot different than his recording voice, so that even makes them sound like 'new' songs."

А я еще думал, брать ли это чудо, за 99-то рублей! Прекрасный диск от одного из лучших певцов-сочинителей в рок-музыке.
Весь день в голове крутится припев:
