Phalahari Hari Chutney or Vrat ki dhaniya chatni or fasting green coriander chutney whatever we may call is chutney recipe suitable for Navratri or any other fasting. This is no onion no garlic recipe and made with simple and few ingredients. This simple green chutney is suitable for fasting or just any day you just want to replace sendha namak (rock salt) with normal salt if not making this during fasting.
During Navratri or any other fasting in North India there's lot of restriction of what we can eat and what not to eat and there's again the rules varies in each home like I see some people consume red chili powder, turmeric powder etc and some people totally avoid all that. Even in vegetables now a days people don't follow very all rules and include various vegetables which never used to be the case in our home and still I don't use tomato while fasting.
Anyways, this is one chutney that I make often during fasting as it's goes well with anything and not to mention the green color is always so eye smoother. Like I said you can make this chutney any time it doesn't limit to use only during fasting.
Ну, а традиционному вегетарианцу чатни всегда в радость, да и отступничества нет как нет.
