Театральные занавесы и сцены.

Занавесы из легкой ткани часто применялись в самых знаменитых театрах прошлого.

Использоваться в качестве средства отделения зала от сцены занавес стал в 16 веке, а прочно вошел в практику в эпоху барокко, в 17 веке.

В театральном занавесе все имеет значение — его внешний вид, фактура, цвет, характер движения и, главное, способ раскрытия сцены- театральные занавесы могут быть подъемными или раздвижными. В некоторых театрах занавесы остаются постоянными, в других создаются для определенных спектаклей, и показываются в ходе их представления. Могут они представлять собой и живописные мифологические композиции.
