>Security through obscurity I don't think you know what it means. "security through obscurity is the practice of concealing the details or mechanisms of a system to enhance its security". There is no obscurity in aforementioned security architectures/approaches. "Difficult to find exploit" doesn't imply obscurity. And what we have is better than no security at all.
