My thing is an exploratory personal project without any clear goal, investors, developers beside me or responsibilities. Furthermore I'm not making a clone of any existing game. In fact, my explicit goal was always distancing from the existing. Had I wanted to create Master of Magic clone, it would have been already made. The systems composing Master of Magic are not that complex, compared to say XCOM Apocalypse. Most of MoM code deals with the issues of DOS and its low resource environment.
