11:19p	Sinai explosions As many as seven explosions, at least four of them car bombs, rocked the Egyptian tourist resort of Sharm e-Sheikh in the Sinai Peninsula early Saturday, targeting several hotels and severely damaging at least one hotel, witnesses said. At least 43 people were killed and 136 wounded. [...] In October 2004, a series of explosions hit several hotels in the Sinai resorts of Taba and Ras Shitan, about 180 kilometers (100 miles) northwest along the Gulf of Aqaba coast, killing 34 people.
