[Калистратовой] И первое, что я сказала, было: "С.В., я вела себя хорошо, я отказалась участвовать в следствии, не отвечала на вопросы. Меня выпустили потому, что у меня рак". Я произнесла слово "рак" с совершенно несоответствующей ликующей интонацией, а затем еще долго, впервые встречаясь с какими-либо знакомыми, я говорила: "Я вела себя хорошо, я не виновата, что меня выпустили", а слово "рак" поизносила так, как будто это - величайшее благо (Из письма Лины Тумановой Елене Санниковой 15 мая 1986) *** — Лена, я до сих пор не говорила, потому что боялась огорчить вас. Иосифа Терелю опять арестовали… — Да... Я догадывалась об этом. Какая у него статья? — Кажется, 190-1. Она не могла позволить себе не сказать мне то, что скрывать нельзя, но, пользуясь тем, что сама не была уверена, какая именно статья, выбрала из двух зол меньшее — хоть в этом постаралась меньше огорчить. Не сразу ответила она мне на вопрос, какой срок дали Валерию Марченко. Сначала будто остановилась, потом переспросила — действительно ли я не знаю. Потом назвала его срок, а  потом… сообщила о его смерти в лагерной больнице — так вскоре после этого чудовищного приговора. От нее же я узнала о гибели в лагере Алексея Тихого. С грустью и болью говорила она мне о плохом состоянии здоровья Виктора Некипелова в Чистопольской тюрьме,  о Сергее Григорьянце, которого, несмотря, на полученный перелом руки, заставляют в лагере работать на общих основаниях. О переводе из лагеря в Чистопольскю тюрьму неизвестно за что Михаила Ривкина. О своих тревогах, выпустят ли из заключения в конце срока Сергея Ходоровича. ... 1985-86  г.г. С.Кривошеино Томской обл. 1:09a	Бостон Investigators have also recovered components of the bombs, enabling them to determine that they consisted of two 6-liter pressure cookers packed with nails, ball bearings, and other metal. The makeshift bombs were placed in black duffel bags, the official said. The one that exploded first was placed on the ground on Boylston Street, across from the finish-line viewing stands where dignitaries, including Governor Deval Patrick, had been sitting earlier. The second bag was placed on the ground about 75 to 100 yards down the street, outside the Forum restaurant at 755 Boylston, according to the official. The bombs, detonated about 12 seconds apart, killed three people and injured 176 others, including 17 who are still in critical condition and 14 who have lost limbs. Вспомнила про Тимоти Маквея, 19 апреля 1995 он сводил свои счеты с правительством по поводу штурма Вако. Оказывается, он приурочил свой взрыв к дате штурма. Я почему-то думала, что он приурочил его к Patriot's Day. М.б. совпадение дат ему тоже нравилось. Вчера тоже был Patriot's Day. Исторически он 19 апреля (1775, Лексингтонская и Конкордская битвы), а отмечают в третий понедельник апреля. В Массачусетсе и Мэйне. 4:24p	Udacity / SJSU summer pilot I personally think it's cool stuff, I am glad there are more options in US higher education system now. I took a course with Udacity, and it was good enough (I would say 70% were just fine and then it became less satisfactory). Online courses are not a substitute for live college experience but they may help people who want to reduce the number of full-price in-house courses that are required for degree and save some cash or help those who already have a job and want to step up the professional ladder.
