Those who knew the victims — identified as Yusor Mohammad Abu-Salha, 21; her husband, Mr. Barakat, 23; and her sister, Razan Mohammad Abu-Salha, 19 — said they were all model students from well-educated, successful local families. They had nonetheless run into previous problems over parking with the man who was arrested, Craig Stephen Hicks, 46, a former car parts salesman who was studying to be a paralegal at Durham Technical Community College. He was one of their neighbors. They lived on opposite sides of the two-story Finley Forest complex on Summerwalk Circle, where the shooting occurred.  |

Вот это - по поводу парковки: Балтимор, Мэриленд Friday, Jan. 9 3:55 p.m. Robert Durham Thomas, a 40-year-old African-American man, and Troy Preston, a 47-year-old African-American man, got into an altercation with Dennis Padgett, a 34-year-old African-American man, over a parking spot, according to police. It was an ongoing dispute that had resulted in arguments several times last year. On this day, according to a charging document, Padgett parked his car in front of his house on the 3900 block of Glenkirk Road. He had words with Thomas, led his children into his house, and emerged carrying an AR-15 assault rifle and a 9 mm pistol. Police say Padgett shot Preston in the head and then chased Thomas through a gap between houses to the next block, the 1300 block of Northern Parkway, where students from Mercy High School were just leaving after the day’s classes. Padgett shot Thomas, who fell in the street amid traffic.
