Missed it, but recently there was another breakthrough

That should be enough to completely simulate that insect, just like we emulate Nintendo consoles. Obviously you can't simulate a fly in abstract vacuum - it needs proper world to live in, with good enough physics approximation, but that is another problem, which is slowly being solved too, since the beginning of robotics research.

Now tell me what Russian scientists discovered?
