GNU Guix launches
The GNU Guix project has announced its existence; it is an attempt to build
a 100% free GNU-oriented system with, inevitably, a new package manager. "In addition to standard package management features, Guix supports
transactional upgrades and roll-backs, unprivileged package management,
per-user profiles, and garbage collection." |
