Gaza aid as leverage in ceasefire deal
Israel agreed in the ceasefire deal
to
allow more aid to reach Gaza. In effect, this proves that Israel
was besieging Gaza all this time, limiting the flow of aid.
Of course, we who condemned this had no doubt that that was true.

The economic shifts that replaced good quality furniture in the US with
lousy stuff that won't last
correlated with outsourcing.

DEI and ESG vanish from Davos
*All the artifice about
corporate responsibility,
echoed year after
year at Davos and by the Business Roundtable and in business schools,
gave lawmakers who wanted one an excuse to sit on their hands,
because, they’d say, big global corporations can be trusted to do
what’s right.*
But now that US megacorporations and the US government
have conclusively rejected those goals, Davos no longer
claims to be interested either.
