Pensions en-crypto
US residents: phone your state governor and say to veto any
bill that would permit "investing" (gambling) state pension funds
in cryptocurrencies.
As with other forms of gambling, the house is generally to win,
and in this case the pension fund would not be the house.
You can find your state governor phone number at
USA.gov.
If you phone, please spread the word!

Stress kills, sleep saves, go figures
Wealthy Americans have 7 years more life expectancy than working-class
Americans. It's an indirect consequence of the effects of poverty
on
whoever
is poor.
Instead of letting billionaires set working class whites against other
Americans, we can unite and demand to distribute more of America's income
and wealth to those who are poor.

Carcinogen factories of Louisianna
Biden had the DoJ sue a factory in Louisiana that was emitting carcinogen.
The wrecker has
canceled the lawsuit, so that the company can
promote
cancer unimpeded.
This is a consequence of the wrecker's priorities: rich
business owners over poor people (especially if they are black).

Joseph Stiglitz: ISDS trade treaties
Joseph Stiglitz calls for the elimination of ISDS trade treaties,
that make states
pay
for he privilege of changing their laws to protect public health
or the environment.
One question is how to eliminate those treaties. Most of them say that
even if a country withdraws from the treaty, it is still bound by the
treaty's parasitical rules for many years after.
In the cases where these treaties do big harm, they causes the death
of thousands of people if not millions. So one idea is to legislate
that enforcing one of these treaties in a case where the consequence
is to kill people or make people sick constitutes homicide or gross
bodily harm, and that the penalty to any corporation convicted of
these crimes is confiscation of all assets and/or income.
A company that is willing to seek profit by those means
deserves to lose everything.

National Labor Relations Board
A court ordered reinstatement of NLRB member Gwynne Wilcox,
who the bully
fired
for affirming that the president of the US is not a king.
This means that the NLRB can now function normally — unless he fires
her again. I wonder what absurd excuse he will use next.

Gaza ceasefire new ultimatum
*Hamas has accused [the wrecker] of
seeking
to undermine the shaky pause in hostilities in Gaza with his
latest intervention in the region: a new and fierce ultimatum telling
the group to release all hostages.*
This directly undermines the completion of the cease-fire deal, which
would have included releasing all the hostages, and also ended the war.
In effect, it demands that HAMAS give Israel everything immediately,
thus eliminating pressure for Israel to end its killing.
It also shows that the wrecker is acting directly to undermine
the "peace plan" he claimed to have brought about.
