Urgent: My UK Travel plans
I will be traveling to the UK in April or May, and I'm looking for
other invitations to speak there on the same visit.

Because I am somewhat immunocompromised, I am vulnerable to Covid and
flu. I need to say in place where I have a room and a bathroom that

Planet roasters lobbying for immunity
Planet roasters are lobbying the US to give them explicit immunity for
damage to everyone and everything caused by their fuel's greenhouse gas
emissions.
It will not be possible in practice to make the fossil fuel companies
pay for the damage that those fuels will do, because that will be
bigger than the world economy. They will go bankrupt, but fossil fuel
extraction won't stop.
However, at an earlier stage, while civilization still exists, the
smaller amounts of liability might make them shift to renewable energy
(instead of just pretending that they will), so as to avoid more
liability later. That might do some real good.
