Новый трамповский указ о сжигании американского флага противоречит решениям ВС, и скорее всего противоречит Первой Поправке. Поначалу я подумал, что это глупый ход, но есть два нюанса:

1. Левые неоднократно подвергали людей преследованию за оскорбление своих религиозных символов - вроде флагов прайда или транс.

2. Ничего подобного по отношению к американскому флагу они делать не будут, наоборот, поскольку Трамп, то они примутся публично и демонстративно жечь американские флаги. Разумеется, не все левые, но отморозков у них полно, и они абсолютно неконтролируемы.

3. Выборы у нас каждые 2 года, и к ним картинки левых, жгущих американские флаги, отлично придутся ко двору. Авось ещё какой-нибудь кандидат в Конгресс, из самых тупых и отмороженых, сфотографируется на фоне - лучшей предвыборной пропаганды и придумать невозможно.

А если года через 2-3 - а такие дела быстро не ходят - ВС это решение отменит, так то ж когда будет, к тому времени у Трампа будут совсем другие заботы.

Поэтому, ожидаемо, обсуждение новости неизбежно сводится к упражнению в нахождении тысячепятисотого способа сказать "orange man bad", не найденого предыдущими ораторами, и продолжению этой темы к неизбежному скорому крушению капитализма и проклятой Америки (большинство пишущих, конечно, американцы, работающие в бизнесах и получающие минимум six figures). Вторая по популярности тема - обсуждение, какие американцы избиратели Трампа тупые, бессмысленные, злобные животные. На третьем месте, конечно, те, кто во всём виноват (да, да, это жиды, не сюрприз, правда же?) и как они захватили власть в Америке и всё контролируют. 

Редкие голоса разума, пытающиеся обсудить тему по существу и привести какие-то факты и аргументы, немедленно затаптываются. Обсуждать там нечего, да и не с кем. Вот и подумаем - если в головах у интеллектуальной илитки такая мегавата, то что там у простых фейсбучников, лучше что ли будет?

Вы, возможно, слышали о таком браузере, как Firefox. Или не слышали. Его разработкой занимается Mozilla Foundation. Эта организация полностью захвачена буденовцами, которые занимаются незнамо чем, но источник их доходов другой. Они живут на деньги Гугля, который платит им за то, чтобы гугль оставался поисковиком по умолчанию в этом браузере. А на самом деле - за то, что являются фиговым листком, прикрывающим гугля от обвинений в монополии.

Однако этому приходит конец. Гугль признан монополистом решением суда, и есть все основания полагать, что сделка с Мозиллой не только потеряет всякий смысл для них, но и будет прямо запрещена судом, как укрепляющая монополию. И Мозилла потеряет около 80% своих доходов.

Если вы хотите их пожалеть, то не торопитесь. У этой организации сейчас на балансе более миллиарда долларов (точнее, было в 2023, но вряд ли уже все потратили, гугль-то пока башляет исправно), из них 400 миллионов - наличными (да, гугль щедр) и 600 лимонов инвестиций. Если они просто положат свои деньги в банковский фонд, скажем, с доходностью 5% в год - это уже 50 миллионов в год минимум. На такие деньги вполне можно продолжать поддерживать браузер и ещё пару-тройку проектов неограниченно долго. Если, конечно, немного сократить расходы - например, CEO Мозиллы получает 5.5 миллиона в год. Ну и, разумеется, самое болезненное - обильную раздачу денег гугля различным левым НГО на борьбу с белым супрематизмом и гетеропатриархией тоже придётся прекратить или по крайней мере урезать. 

Поэтому мне кажется, что если действительно краник прикрутят, то ничего подобного вышеописанному разумному и соответствующему изначальной цели организации решению сделано не будет. Итак, после всех тщательнейших разговоров и расследований выяснилось, что никаких документов Эпштейна, никаких списков и вообще ни хрена нет. Нет - и всё. Но кое-какие вопросы всё-таки остались.

1. Если документов нет, что нам всё это время обещали опубликовать и рассказывали, как оно уже лежит на столе, тщательно проверяется и вот-вот будет опубликовано? Что это было?

2.  Допустим, ничего этого на самом деле не было, и нам просто врали. Есть ли некоторая обязанность у тех, кто врал, хотя бы обьяснить, почему они этим занимались полгода и что мешало, если ничего нет, так и сказать сразу? Выборы уже прошли, бояться нечего. В чём причина?

3. Если никаких обьяснений не будет, из этого следует неутешительный вывод, что команда Трампа так же не собирается ровно никак допускать избирателей до решений реальных вопросов и до знаний реальных фактов, как и команда демократов. Что, конечно, весьма печальное положение дел. Хотя одна группа лживых рептилоидов менее вредна, чем другая - хотелось бы иметь выбор кого-то, кто не является лживым рептилоидом.

4. Хорошо, допустим, никакого документа с заголовком "список клиентов Эпштейна" нет. ОК, нас наебали, проехали. Но сами-то клиенты были? Эпштейн был? Гилен Максвелл до сих пор всть? Кроме того, есть летавшие на самолёте Эпштейна, есть посещавшие остров. Наконец, в этом самолёте и на этом острове наверняка были пилоты, официанты, уборщики, мусорщики, садовники и т.п. - кто-то что-то видел. Наверняка есть записи, фотографии, какие-то документы и свидетельства. Всё, что называется нормальной полицейской работой. ФБР отлично продемонстрировало, что когда какая-нибудь старушка 2 минуты прогуляется по лужайке Капитолия, то можно поднять банки, кредитки, соцсети, мобильные телефоны, сеть осведомителей, вот это всё - и достать каждую последнюю старушку из Алабамы и ни одна не уйдёт. Толпы следователей, миллионы долларов - и нет, не впустую, всех нашла волосатая рука закона.
А тут что же получается? Ну хорошо, списка нет. А допросы свидетелей? А технические данные? А розыскные мероприятия? Где толпы следователей, где сотни допрошеных свидетелей, где результаты? Мы знаем, как они могут землю рыть, когда хотят - и возникает вопрос, где это всё? И если его нет - то почему именно? Что их останавливает? 

Вот этот вопрос, мне кажется, гораздо более важен, чем сам Эпштейн повесился или ему помогли. От последнего уже мало что зависит - а от первого зависит, кто на самом деле правит нашей страной и как это правление на самом деле осуществляется. Мне кажется, это довольно интересный для американских граждан вопрос, нет?

Досмотрел второй сезон Андора. Суммарно, смотрибельно, хотя второй немного похуже первого. Или, вернее, неровнее - лучшие части лучше, а худшие - хуже.

Буденовская повесточка присутствует, но не слишком подавляет остальной контент. Да, лесбианки на месте, но кроме случайного поцелуя, это никак не педалируется. Зато другая часть повесточки - про бедных нелегалов и жестокий ICE - педалируется жесточайше. Понятно, что тут же выяснилось, что штормтруперы массово проверяют визы - хотя до сего момента вообще о существовании каких-либо виз во всей вселенной ЗВ никогда не упоминалось и все скакали с планеты на планету, как в соседний гастроном. Но тут вдруг оказалось, что там существует строгая визовая система (при полном отсутствии границ и каких-либо пограничных служб, чбсх), и конечно же у главных героев виз нет. Причём это никогда и никому не мешало, кроме как в двух эпизодах, когда это основной конфликт - после чего о существовании виз опять забыли, все герои по прежнему ездят, куда угодно, ничем не заморачиваясь, и визы более не упоминаются.

С другой стороны, тема оппозиции при тоталитарном режиме раскрыта интересно, горманские эпизоды вполне смотрибельны и даже где-то актуальны. А вот эпизод с подпольщиками-дебилами совершенно непонятно, зачем нужен - остальные подпольщики тоже не то, чтобы гениями выглядят, но эти уж совсем какие-то терминальные ушлепки.

Концовка, ПМСМ, слабовата, но для приквела это естественно - нормальную концовку там просто некуда ставить. Актерский состав тоже не супер, перманентное обиженное выражение лица Диего Луны меня не очень радовало, и другие персонажи тоже не поднимались до звездных высот. Я так понял, что доминирующей парадигмой для женских персонажей в Голивуде сейчас является Сильная Женщина (ТМ), и на практике это означает, что все актрисы должны перманентно носить выражение "я только что сьела дохлую крысу, и до полудня должна сьесть ещё три". Я понимаю, что там война, подполье и т.п. - но всё-таки хотелось бы как минимум два-три других выражения лиц.

В целом, я не скажу, что это большое достижение. Если Мандалориан тянет на 4 и местами даже 4+, то это где-то три с плюсом. Смотреть вполне можно, особенно если игнорировать повесточные части, которые занимают довольно небольшую часть, и сделаны, честно говоря, явно на отьебись. Если бы их не было, было бы твердое 4. Большего, видимо, от Диснея ожидать никак невозможно, а обычно получается сильно меньше.

Кроме того, Конгресс выносил специальные резолюции, дающие Президенту право применять военную силу против: Ирака, организаторов 9/11, Сомали, Ливана, Вьетнама, коммунизма на Ближнем Востоке, и для защиты Тайваня.
