Algebraic Geometry, Lipschitz Geometry and Singularities
Еду на неделю в Rio Grande de Norte, вот на эту конференцию
https://www.maths.ed.ac.uk/cheltsov/pipa/index.html
Вот полезное
https://www.reddit.com/r/MapPorn/comments/pdqvlz/brazil_voltage_map_read_my_comment_for_more_info/
какое где в Бразилии напряжение в сети
бывает совершенно неожиданное, так что пришлось погуглить
Rio Grande de Norte, похоже, только 220 вольт.

Деревня, где проходит конференция:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pipa_Beach

https://fi.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karjalan_historia

"In the 17th century, Russia's internal power struggles led the country into turmoil, in which Sweden also got involved. As a reward for the support given to a power seeker, Sweden was promised the Karelia of Laatoka . Sweden captured the city of Käkisalmi in 1611 and got Stolbova in peace in 1617, the county of Käkisalmi and the territory of Inkerinmaa, from which the governor general was formed. [23] After the peace, the migration of the people of Savoia and Western Karelia began for empty spaces. Käkisalmi's Karjala formed an area where a mix of natives and newcomers lived. Sweden began converting the Orthodox population to Lutheranism and taxing them severely. Most of the people fled to the Russian side, about 11,000 people, some of whom ended up in the Tver region . [24] Tver Karelia was born from this , where there is still a Karelian population and, among other things, the own written language of Karelia. The population that remained on the Swedish side converted to Lutheranism. The refugees were replaced by a new Lutheran population from Savo and Western Karelia. "

"In the 17th century, as a result of the wars, Orthodox Karelians, who lived in the then Käkisalmi county (including the present-day North Karelia) came under Sweden) in the area. This Orthodox population fled due to wars and religious persecution, for example to the Tver region. In many holdings, the Orthodox who remained in place converted to Lutheran within a few generations. On the other hand, the Lutheran population came to the vacant lands, which in the northern and central parts of the county was largely of Savoie background. Even these new inhabitants of Karelia gradually began to be called Karelians. The dialect spoken by them in North Karelia is related to Savoland dialects and not to the southeast dialects spoken in more southern Karelia. In the southern part of Käkisalmi county, the areas that were left empty on the Karjalankansas were mostly settled from West Karelia, i.e. from the municipalities of Äyräpää, Jääski and Lappe, which is why the dialect of the southern part of the county has been the southeastern dialect of the Finnish language, or the Karelian dialect.

In the war of rupture in 1656–1657, Russia attacked Ingerinmaa and Karelia. Orthodox peasants joined the invaders and started violence against the Lutherans. When the Russians retreated, a large number of the Orthodox population followed them across the border, and in the years after the war, the migration that continued throughout Swedish rule turned into a mass exodus. In many places, the Orthodox population as a whole fled to Russia , where it formed, among other things, the groups of Tver, Tikhvin, Novgorod, or Valdainkarians, and Djorzhan, or Zubtsovinkarians. According to estimates, 15,000 people fled to Russia during the War of Independence. [27] More than 30,000 people fled Karelia to Russia in the 17th century."

"In the middle of the 17th century, 30,000 Orthodox Christians from North Karelia and Border Karelia had fled to the Russian Karelia region due to religious persecution."
