i am sick of this shit. every day i see the same garbage in the media about some retarded rock stars singing against the icecaps melting and about what would happen if it gets really warm totally everywhere.
today's gem comes from Bloomberg News (the company I am affiliated with). Global Warming may spawn more flooding and disrupt the ski industry unless heat tapping emissions are curbed
Global warming is essentially a new branch of entertainment alongside Terrorism, Pedophiles abducting and killing children, Paris Hilton and Middle Eastern politics. The only undeniable truths about GW are that it exists and is correlated with the levels of CO in the atmosphere.
The rest is pure bullshit, including this atrocious rock concert last weekend and a constant flow of junk pseudo-news on the subject.
We cannot "save the planet" any more than some stupid endangered singaporean green panda.
Build the more nuclear power plants and get on with it. Except that too much is in the oil and the third world is too big to ever adopt. China pollutes as much as the US today and it will outpace the US very soon by a lot. So will India. Noone cares about the news or the rock concerts except for maybe people like myself and only for the reasons of being annoyed.
