Junior Research Fellowship at Imperial College
Younger researchers (normally 2-4 years postdoctoral experience) may be
interested in the new Junior Research Fellowship scheme at Imperial
(across all departments at Imperial). Anyone interested in applying to the
scheme with a mentor in the Geometry group should contact one of us
(Alessio Corti, Simon Donaldson, Mark Haskins, Richard Thomas).

Below is some of the official blurb about the Fellowships.

The fellowships provide up to three years of funding for outstanding young
scientists at the early stages of their career. The main characteristic of
the scheme is that it will give fellows the freedom to focus on research,
unfettered by other demands, such as teaching or administrative duties.
The scheme will therefore help a new generation of scientists to establish
their own all-important research independence. Applicants are required to
identify a sponsor prior to submitting their proposal for a Junior
Research Fellowship. The deadline for applications is 30 November 2008

Full details of the Imperial College Junior Research Fellowships can be
    found at: www.imperial.ac.uk/jrf [http://www.imperial.ac.uk/jrf]

Сколько там платят, не указано, но около $3000 в месяц,
плюс-минус. Что касается геометрии - IC есть, пожалуй, одно
из 2-3 лучших мест во всем мире, и уж точно лучшее по UK.

    Привет
