Putin compared himself to Tsar Peter I, in effect saying that conquering Ukraine is his divine mission.

The original name of the city now known as St Petersburg was Nyen (Swedish) or Nevanlinna (Finnish). Imagine giving that city to Finland and restorie those names! The idea would make Putin writhe.
