Fertilizing plankton with dust
The article identifies
- Too Hot to Farm (and too wet for humans, or too dry for plants)
- Too Acidic for Fish (too much CO2 in the ocean).
The article suggests fertilizing plankton by dropping lots of dust in the ocean as a way to remove CO2. Would this really work? Would it be safe? I don't know.
