MILAN - Another double from Andriy Shevchenko (after having scored in the first round at Ancona) and a last-minute goal from Jon Dahl Tomasson gave Milan a convincing victory over Lecce and allowed them to reclaim the head of the Serie A on 10 points.
With the 3-0 win at the San Siro the Rossoneri clinched their third success after four games in the Serie A to maintain the pace with Juventus and Roma's and leave city-rivals Inter behind them ahead of the Milan derby on October 5.

With Filippo Inzaghi on the bench through injury, Carlo Ancelotti selected Jon Dahl Tomasson to play off Shevchenko in attack and the pair responded in style.
The Ukrainian international opened the scoring for the hosts in the 21st minute, as he slotted home a low cross from Cafu, after a Rui Costa shot had hit the post.
In the second half the in-form striker made it 2-0 with a fine finish into the bottom corner of the Lecce goal after dribbling past two defenders. It was the fifth goal Sheva has scored in Serie A so far this season.
With one minute from time Tomasson sealed Milan's 3-0 victory, as he turned in from close range a lob over Lecce goalkeeper Marco Amelia by Brazilian talent Kaka.
