State of Union address to Congress

The bully gave a speech in Congress, showing that Republicans revel in being the crazed mob following a bully. Democrats' response was sometimes visible but his mob disregarded even his visible falsehoods. (The speech was full of those.)

I think that authoritarian followers will find displays in which their leader successfully bullies his enemies as gratifying and reinforcing to their obedience.
