Secretary of Education on teaching about Tulsa race massacre The racist-in-chief's Secretary of Education says it is permissible for schools to teach about the Tulsa race massacre as long as they "give the facts on both sides". Are we supposed to believe that there is a positive side to a murderous riot by racists? Are we supposed to believe that there is a positive side to a riot that attacked the Capitol? The article linked to above displays symbolic bigotry by capitalizing "black" but not "white". (To avoid endorsing bigotry, capitalize both words or neither one.) I denounce bigotry, and normally I will not link to articles that practice it. But I make exceptions for some articles because I consider them important — and I present this comment about them. </li> |
