Equal-opportunity employer Filed a job application on Thomson Financials web site. Skipped Race/Ethnic Identification drop-down 'cause I believe it to be irrelevant for the purpose of job search. To help us comply with federal and state Equal Employment Opportunity record keeping, reporting, analysis purposes and other legal requirements, we invite you to click here and provide this information. If you have already provided this information to us for other applications and do not wish to update/modify it, please disregard this request. Important - Applicants Please Read Qualified applicants will be considered for employment, without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, citizenship, age, sex, marital status, ancestry, physical, or mental disability, veteran status, or sexual orientation. Again, to help us comply with federal and state Equal Employment Opportunity record keeping, reporting, analysis purposes and other legal requirements, we request that you complete this data information questionnaire. Best regards, Human Resource Department ** UNRESOLVED ** HR What the heck UNRESOLVED is supposed to mean in the context of a job application? Looked kind of threatening to me. So I picked whatever is appropriate from drop-down list - and they happily stated that now the form is complete. I suspect what they do is ILLEGAL. |
