In another link, the character for garden is infact the character for a paddy field tian2. If you allow for that loose a interpretation of any character, then the conclusions that are drawn from the data are only as good as the assumptions that were made.

Да! Я тоже это заметил! Этот иероглиф - это квадратик в крестике.
