First two parts were assigned to tell the story of russian pop music, first was about beginners and common tendencies of music scene, second was about the pinnacle period`s group and tha content they brought to the table. Now, in third part we will know how the story ends. Groups under consideration here came into being on the downward slope of the wave, may be it wasn`t so obvious at the time, but it was sunset. Tender, beautiful, and inevitable. What makes this sequence irreversible we will talk too.

So meet a today`s host – group Factor2. That`s the last iteration of kinda street pop. Not pretencious dance music for the wide range of youth of simple upbringing. They remind Ruki Vverh, not sophisticated catchy melodies, lyrics a tint darker but also about life of simple guys. By the way Sergey Zhukov, leader of kings, was their producer.

But that was step not farther rather some sort of backward movement. Music was great though, but not new, a swan song of synthesizers. The duo was prolific, they put outs albums without order, albums` content often overlaped each other, also was singles, special editions, and reprints, in other words one huge pan of stew. By the way it was the usual practic in a music business of nineties but it was aughts now.

Worser things were with lyric. The group members were volksdeutsche living in soviet asia, then as a children they were brought back to Germany. So when they start to write songs, they described the reality that was long ago gone in Russia. It was bizarre, some sort of dark fantasy, or alternative history where nineties would continue for another decade. And it actually struck a chord but only with a lower classes youth. Cause poorer people more they are immersed in a past.

It was an artefact, a phenomenon, a bright object, but it was a deadend not conducive for the development of musical culture. Indispensable listening is a follow tracks – Krasavica, a solid, wildly popular hit, Prestuplenie (remix, not original version), a very atmospheric song to stare in winter clear star pierced night city sky, and a bunch of gruesome in meaning but energetic slow dance hits, I don`t bother to mention, but that rocks the night clubs in not-so-well-being quarters of town.

And as this issue emerged let`s talk about phenomen of slow dance in russian night clubs. There is two way music may be played. First is a dj set, second is a sequence of popular tracks. Dj set`s supposed to be heard at high-end clubs in a center of a town, it`s more up to date method, but it seems more artificial, generic, and less affable to attendees. Let`s be honest it`s a buzz killer if you`re not a raver. The sequence of popular tracks is used in a regular not big local night clubs, where the crowd likes to hear a familar songs, sing with artists, and not to be befuddled on the dancefloor. And if you`re looking for a great night choose for a sequence not a set, for the big night music`s important, but it`s not in a first place, as djs assumes.

Second there is a two kind of tracks fasts and slows. When plays a fast song, you must jump in a crowd, as a relict you even may see a rings of peers, when every company dances separately, forming rings on a floor, but now it`s rare, you dance by yourself, between partners, if you find one to the moment, exists only an eye contact, feel the beat and make your moves. But everything changes when dancers hear a first notes of familiar slow song, a moment of commotion, all leaves floor, it`s pair`s dance, alone you will look weird, guys must procure a girl to slow dance, guys offer, girls agree or, oh, pure boy, not. A tour of dance not a big deal, so if you was given a negative answer this is a really big deal, what`s wrong with you, you must go to the bar and sink your shame in an enormous amount of flamable liquids to increase your courage, and try again. Actually it may work, it sounds paradoxically, but only to ininebriated minds, hiccup.

Back to the music rate for fast and slow song is three-four-five fast to one-two slow song. Some disorder brings a hip-hop songs that is fast, but is danced in pairs, but what you can get from the tracks that brings people not face to face but hips to hips. But we like these too. Needless to say, you may pay the djs at local club so they would play the song you want. For hot hits tastes might coincide and you would listen them more than once through the evening. And by the way it is a today case.

It`s ominous though when the group that belongs to the tertiary orbit occupies first place. Russian pop music hadn`t heavy enough mainstream bone. And to the some point it gave an advantage, it give a way for talented uderdog to succeed or at least become famous. But in a long run, there wasn`t enough marrow to buttress scene, at the period of stillness.
