Минимум это не только ОРВИ и ветрянка, это и неизбежная онкология и кардиохирургия.

А вот благотворительность идёт на то чтобы в палате было не 3-4 человека, а 2. Чтобы оборудование было везде, а не только там где статистически обязательно, чтобы была возможность перевозки больных, и т.д.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Dec. 1, 2011) - At 18 months old, Dan Hathaway’s parents were told he would never walk, sit or run: He had cerebral palsy. On Thursday, he’ll show everyone how he has defied the odds thanks to help from Kosair Charities and Kosair Children’s Hospital when he assists the Shriners of Kosair Charities in presenting the hospital with a $5,876,035 gift from the charities.

Cerebral palsy involves the brain and nervous system and requires treatment from a variety of specialists found at Kosair Children’s Hospital. Because of the persistence of Kosair Charities and Kosair Children’s Hospital, Dan not only runs, sits and walks, but he also jumps, swings, swims and plays basketball.

The gift being presented is part of Kosair Charities’ ongoing commitment to the hospital, which by 2026 will have provided more than $200 million to the hospital to help cover the costs of medical treatment and services for children whose families cannot afford to pay, as well as support programs and services to meet the hospital’s mission."
