Олени — “убийцы”

В Орегоне, на дорогах, очень часто можно видеть дорожный знак с оленем.

Думаю, не только в Орегоне.

Дорожно-транспортных происшествий, с “участием” оленей, у нас здесь очень много. Машины сбивают оленей…

Бывает и наоборот. Как в этом случае:

A 42-year-old Portland man died today when a deer jumped into the road and hit the side of his motorcycle east of Oregon City.

Kevin Shawn Kenville was riding his 2000 Harley Davidson motorcycle west on South Fischers Mill Road near South Chalet Drive at about 11:34 a.m. when the deer struck him, according to the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office.

The force of the impact pushed his motorcycle across the road and into some mailboxes, narrowly missing a couple riding a tandem bike, the sheriff’s office said.

Kenville, who was recently married and visiting his mother in the Oregon City area, died at the scene. The riders if the tandem bike were not injured. The deer was found dead about 100 yards away.
