'It felt like a war zone': Party-goers at Werribee Airbnb house pelt police with rocks
Police officers called to an unruly party at a rented Airbnb house in Melbourne's west were pelted with rocks, forcing them to retreat and call in a heavily armed tactical response team.
The house was extensively damaged and neighbours had their car windows and windows in their homes smashed, as a rolling mob tore Attunga Grove in Werribee apart early on Wednesday morning.

A TEENAGE boy who was stabbed twice at an out-of-control house party is “furious” his family has again been let down by the justice system.
Joel Sarlo, 18, was stabbed twice in the back in Koo Wee Rup on Saturday night.
His alleged attacker, a 17-year-old boy, was charged and released on bail.
“It’s absolutely ridiculous,” said Mr Sarlo.

SPECIALIST NSW police officers will be armed with semiautomatic long-arm rifles from today under a ramped up approach to public safety.
Almost 50 riot squad officers have completed training for the weapons and have been issued with the Colt M4 rifles.
“There will be some in our community who may be confronted with the fact police now have a greater capacity in reaction to their firearms but I think also the community will be comforted,” Police Minister Troy Grant said.
