One of the Israeli blogs I read from time to time. A regular mother, middle class, middle age, middle of the road Israeli.

The situation is that Lebanon has to burn right now if Israel is to survive. I’m sorry for the people on the other side, but that is the way it is. Us or them.

War is hell.

Целый день сегодня думал над этими словами. Все никак из головы не выходили. Прочитал ее блог. Специально прошелся по улицам Бальфур и Алленби (самый центр Тель-Авива), где арабские снайперы расстреливали в 48-м деда этой женщины и других израильтян. В голове крутится ангеронинское "Have a nice war!". Все-таки американские евреи (я и сам такой!) никогда израильтян не поймут. По-другому мозг устроен. Просто не дано.
