Brand new CD release, devoted to K. Tsiolkovsky and russian space investigation. Do not expect creepy noises and gloomy drones, neither a pretentious glitch-style pastiche: Kosmodrom is a very flowing collection of retro-futuristic electronic tracks, with pseudo rhythmical structures and minimal melodies. Designed to feel the mood of the golden russian space era: from the first signal of the little, shining Sputnik to the bright descent of the MIR station. All the tracks are built using sounds of old russian synthesizers (Aelita and ANS), and original russian/soviet cosmonauts radio-conversations and telemetry signals.
