The term ‘Electroclash’, now popularized by the festival name, was added to the English Dictionary in 2003. By changing the name of the overall event, it allows artists that don’t consider themselves ‘Electroclash’ to be included. It also allows for the festival to remain true to it’s initial intent of bringing attention to incredible new music artists and DJ talents.
