Sturmbannfuerer Wilhelm Brandt and the actual designer of the Waffen-SS
camouflage was Professor Otto Schick. Most of this clothing was produced in
a few of the more 'developed' concentration camps such as Buchenwald and
Dachau. Hugo Boss was probably only really used to help design the finer
elements of the standard SS uniform so as to differentiate them from other
branches of the German armed forces during that period.
