| May. 31st, 2007 09:03 pm changing writing languages for Nokia N95 successfully changed the set of writing languages in my phone. It turns out one has to do something known as "debranding": the code ("product code") for the set of writing langauges is stored in the phone memory, and needs to be changed using certain piece of software. Details can be found here In my case I had to replace the code 0534833 (apparently, Singapore/Malaysia/Indonesia, i.e. English/Malay/Chinese) with 0534849 ("Russian", that includes English, German, Romanian, Bulgarian, Ukranian, and Russian).
