Subject:Anarcho-monarchists

Невероятно смешное течение по-моему. Такой воплощённый оксюморон в названии. Жалко, что нет линков на сайты анархо-монархических организаций.

Anarcho-monarchism - A unique philosophy which asserts that societies and nations would be best if they lacked any formal, legal governance. Anarcho-monarchists, do, however, state that those societies who have visible, symbolic authorities who hold no monopoly of force or law, do not violate the dictates of pure individual freedom, since all individuals may choose as to whether or not to posit any credibility in any given authority. They believe that having such authority gives continuity and stability to a society. Anarcho-monarchists usually argue for a monarch in the tribalistic sense, i.e. a hereditary monarch whose authority is purely ceremonial and inspirational. The usual libertarian ethic of "no coercion" is found in anarcho-monarchism.

J.R.R. Tolkien apparently claimed to be one, saying that the Shire in his tales showed such a society. Other examples of notable anarcho-monarchists include Erik von Kuenhelt-Leddihn and Salvador Dali. Erik von Kuenhelt-Leddihn was a proud monarchist and called himself a "Liberal of the far right." Salvador Dali claimed to be one in a televised interview in Catalonia. Prince Kropotkin, a noted anarchist leader, had at one time claimed that medieval cities, which were under royal families, were examples of anarchy. It is disputed as to how accurate this claim is.
