The horrors of appreciation. So here is the thing that is thoroughly repeated in every other girlish game - either directly advertised for a female audience or suggested to be the 'cute option' for those who are not somehow into the horrors of a harsh reality.
So here is the thing. The ultimate goal of those - is to be liked. Liked by males, predominately, and by females, as a way to reach the desired male option.
So you start to play this nicey thing and the first aspect that you find out in the process of playing - you are designing your character not to, let's say, be more adaptable, or successful in the professional field - no-no-no. So you have 'wit' - to answer attractively, 'talent' - to sing nicely in front of potential suitors for a love affair, or to play piano to amuse them. Oh.
I was brought up kinda this way. I had a privilege of growing up without father. I suppose it was, well. The good thing is, well, this post is terrible and I'm just exercising my writing skills. |
