IESB talked to Fox head honcho Tom Rothman who confirmed that there has been some discussion of doing an Alien prequel, and what’s more Ridley has an idea he’s toying with for it. He’s busy with Robin Hood right now, but afterward? It sound like the door is open. Says Rothman, “I mean, it's always been a matter of, really, if you can get the originator to do it that would be the greatest thing, so I've got my fingers crossed, all of them".
