The divisions in the fandom (I had no idea how many fans are transphobic/don't believe Non-Binary people are a thing) ....the betrayal and anger I felt at Rowling's comments....the feeling of no longer feeling accepted as a part of the fandom....these have all plagued me since Rowling's posts came out. And seeing someone who I admire, and who inspires me, stand up for the community that I am a part of....that makes me really, really happy.
