Птичье Нет ничего надежней для охраны дома, чем греческое божество.
When Vicki Walker brought a scary-looking mask back from her holiday in Greece, she thought it would be a a fun way to frighten her three-year-old grandson. Little did she know that when she fixed it to a tree in her garden, the mask would find a totally different function - providing a home for a pair of bluetits. The fearsome Greek god would never make a good scarecrow, as the birds have found an unexpected use for its roaring mouth - using it as a nest. Mrs Walker, 58, said: "It's a ghastly looking thing so we brought it back as a little joke for Matthew. We told him the god is always looking at him when he comes into the house. "The birds just come along and make themselves at home. They stay up there for some time before flying off the next day and returning at almost the same time the next. |
