1/6 plate of little girl holding a stuffed poodle dog toy. This was a very popular toy in the 1840's and 1850's. This is a Boston image and is in the style of Whipple or Southworth and Hawes. Lite blue tinting on dress. Posed in bright light with great depth and reflective quality.
