Giovanni Andrea Maglioli (Italian 1580 - 1610). Работал в Риме.
Painter and designer of ornamental prints of sea-creatures and dolphins, which he engraved himself. Worked in Rome.

К сожалению, кроме этой серии гравюр, ничего больше о нем не нашла, судя по датам- он прожил всего 30 лет.

Очень впечатляюще. Просто эталон жанра. Такая монументальность, что буквально просится из книги в три измерения - скажем, в парковое оформление

Мало прожил. В те времена долго учились и начинали самостоятельное творчество поздно.

Мне кажется, этот парень должен быть и архитектором хорошим.
