A woman is someone who doesn't need any fixes or treatment. A woman is a woman without any intervention. It's the degenerates who need high-tech frankensteining to get close to that ideal, but it will always be imperfect, either in bodily function or psychologically. >Fixable by genetic engineering First of all there is no point in doing that since it won't change much, and I haven't even heard about anyone trying to do gene therapy that would replace a chromosome in every cell. Too fantastical and pointless. The body has already formed using the "wrong" instructions. Humans are not some caterpillars who could completely metamorph into something else in a chrysalis. Gene therapy is used for things that could be fixed at the cell level, without structural changes. >Again fixable I haven't read the paper about the woman that gave birth from a transplanted womb, but I guarantee you that it's a high-tech operation with complications and constant care. Not something casual or normal. And she'll have to take immunosuppression drugs for the rest of her life or amputate said womb. Transplanted organs are also known to have limited "lifetime", even with immunosuppression. In case of transgender individuals, you would have to genetically engineer that womb, and somehow grow it inside or outside the body, or else it would produce other person's eggs. It's more fantastical than growing a new genetically engineered brainless body and transplanting one's brain into it. And even if you transplant your brain into a new female body, you probably won't for example experience the proper feeling of getting fucked in your vagina, because the brain has been formed with a penis, and is literally structurally different at the neuronal level. Not to mention other differences that come out of growing with non-female levels of testosterone. >HRT That's a treatment. If our high-tech civilization suddenly collapses due to a natural disaster or war, people with HRT treatment will grow their beards/boobs. That's definitely not something normal. That dependency just shows that such individuals are an outgrowth of a high-tech society. >Real girls have these at some level or he other. That would be not a very healthy woman. Not the ideal we all want to be. It could be argued that the more diseased a person is the less they are a human. For example a human with scales growing on their skin (there is such a genetic disorder) looks less humanish to me. A person who needs to take drugs their entire life to live is just a less visually extreme version of that, because the abnormality is on the inside. ... What diseased individuals lack are lived experiences of growing up normal, in your case it's growing up a biological female, and that could never be fixed, even with brain transplantation. Lived experiences, together with their genetics form the entirety of what a person is. Trans individuals don't have neither the "right" genetic nor the "right" lived experiences.
