There were no vacant rooms at Villa Santi yesterday, so I had to spend the night at the Mekong guesthouse down by the river. The room looked exactly like a set for Apocalypse Now, complete with an ancient fan on the ceiling and Satisfaction playing at some obscure bar downstairs. Decided against going to Vian Vieng, so I am staying here at Louang Prabang up until August 13th. All flights from Vientiane to Siem Reap are sold out anyway.
