Charles Taylor 'worked' for CIA in Liberia

Mr Taylor is awaiting a verdict on his trial for alleged war crimes.

Rumours of CIA ties were fuelled in July 2009 when Mr Taylor himself told his trial, at the UN-backed Special Court for Sierra Leone in the Hague, that US agents had helped him escape from a maximum security prison in Boston in 1985.

The CIA at the time denied such claims as "completely absurd".

But now the Defence Intelligence Agency, the Pentagon's spy arm, has disclosed that its agents - and those of the CIA - did later use Mr Taylor as an informant, the Globe reports.

  Mitt Romney, for example, has very close ties to a high-level agent from Israeli military intelligence, the woman he made CEO of Bain & Company.   

Military officials said Wednesday that they’re investigating a video published online showing four men in U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) uniforms urinating on several lifeless bodies purported to be dead Taliban fighters in Afghanistan.

“While we have not yet verified the origin or authenticity of this video, the actions portrayed are not consistent with our core values and are not indicative of the character of the Marines in our Corps,” a USMC spokeswoman told celebrity gossip website TMZ. ”This matter will be fully investigated and those responsible will be held accountable for their actions.”

There was no 9.0 earthquake as reported by the Japanese and western media, only 3 5.0-6.0 earthquake as reported by the Japanese scientists on their seismic websites. This video of the earthquake in progress shows a busy newsroom shaking but people are still typing and going about their day. a 9.0 is 10 times stronger than an 8.0 and 100 times stronger than a 7.0 etc... A 9.0 would have sent everyone flying.

The meltdown started 21 minutes BEFORE the tsunami hit the coast.

The claim that the designers of the plant were not prepared for the "one two punch" of a Tsunami and Earthquake seems sensible at first but becomes absurd when one considers that a tsunami is defined as an earthquake that happens at sea and is a Japanese word. The designers of the plant most certainly took all such cases into consideration. The Japanese engineers are among the world's finest.

I see a Tsunami but no damage to these wooden and concrete buildings. A 9.0 earth quake would have reduced this entire coastal area to rubble before the Tsunami hit.
