Mr. Andrei Gordienko

In response to your request for information on Ilja Gordienko, I would like inform you that searching through our archived documents of KL Auschwitz didn’t get positive results.
The number 135737 received a male prisoner (name unknown) deported to KL Auschwitz on August 6, 1943 from Katowice.
We would like to explain, that during the evacuation and liquidation of KL Auschwitz by order of the camp authorities, almost all important documents of KL Auschwitz, including prisoners’ personal files, were destroyed. On the basis of our partially saved documents, it is impossible to assent full and accurate information on all the persons who were imprisoned at the camp.
