Limited time offer
Matt,
<...> three of us (L., me and Shimon) are going to Vegas for a short break coming back Saturday night.
I wonder if you'll be sufficiently excited to deliver Yosef to his swimming class on Saturday March 29th? And bring him back, of course.
The class is at <...> from 11am to 11:30am (he needs about 7 minutes to change).

Please note that I'm not suggesting to drive Tanya for Saturday school at 8am (she forgot to return some books to the library, and this is school punishment) since I'm thrilled to do it myself - so I let her reschedule this to a later date.

If driving Yosef sounds like an exciting opportunity to experience the joys of parenthood free of charge with no further obligations - please let me know.

----

I'm not sure I was much help. I can assure you that your two eldest children are alive and well. I am afraid however that your eldest son has not advanced his swimming ability in any appreciable way today. I wasn't quite able to locate <...> and only now see the errors of my ways...

Yosef did have a nice drive, and we discussed his fear of 'going under water'.<...>

Apparently I'm not quite ready for parenthood. I'm sorry we didn't manage to deliver him to his lesson on time.

I hope Vegas is as wonderfully dry as I hear.

Matt

----

Сказала, чтоб он не переживал - когда-нибудь и я отвезу его детей с тем же успехом.

about 8 years ago I drove Sonya to math circle.
couldn't find it. N.gave me one wrong turn, plus i was pregnant with A.
i asked S. a couple of times if the landscape around was familiar, she said yes, whenever it was easthetically pleasing, and no when it didn't look so good. i felt so guilty and responsible for her missing the math class, that I bought her ice-cream instead. N.said later that I could have taken her to MFA instead of all that driving.

Well, pregnancy may have an impact on women's ability to do things men always do well - like following directions and driving to designated location :)

Well, it should've been 10:45am...And he was driving not only my son but also his girlfriend. And himself. I better believe he was sober.

Ah, girlfriend ... That explains it :) Joseph's swimming lesson was probably the last thing on his mind :)
